cos ive finally gotten my nus letter!!!

i've been accepted into NUS science!! yay!!

was really worried.. cos my results wasn't very good..

my H2 was A C D.. yepp.. wasn't very optimistic.

really count my lucky stars!

looks like the star earrings i wore to the interview didn't fail me..

keke, im so superstitious la.. :P

and really, thank you God!

You must have heard my prayers..

now to all my frens who haven had news yet..

being such a scaredy cat, i've decided not to work in the hospital..

u know, i really hate the feeling of loving some1 alot and not knowing if he/she loves u back just as much..

it's like.. i see that other guys are willing to spend so much time, effort and money on their loved girls.. and i really feel he wouldn't be willing to do that for me.. i know i shouldn't ever compare cos every individual is different.. but.. how deep is his love for me? or maybe there is none at all? sigh..

today my physio frens melissa and vicky got into NUS nursing!
when they checked online we all saw 'application outcome':
congrats u hav been accepted into NUS fac of nursing.
ur enrolment letter has been sent out on ______(date).


omg! so good!
hehe congrats girls!! =D

i was so envious and nervous and when i got home i also checked my own application.
ALAS!
mine is still 'application processing'.
boohoo. and it dosen help that melissa told me her fren with btr grades also haven got into fac of science yet.

is it really so competitive? i feel so scared laa..
hope i'll know by the date jon was given: 21st may.
or the latest, by june 2.
otherwise i tink i'll be damn sad n worried.
meanwhile i shall jus console myself by tinking tt it's cos nursing interview was much earlier than mine.

tdy..

had 4 hrs of lab!
quite tired.. and bombarded with all the labelling of movement and stuff..
ahh~ physiotherapy is NOT easy.
i had the mindset that cuz it's poly it's gonna be easier than uni..
but pengssss i have a feeling that i am VERY wrong.

last 2 hrs of labwork comprised of learning how to move and treat stroke patients around.
it was interesting and fun..
and a little difficult thanks to my tiny weak arms.
i felt like crying a few times in lab, cos i was reminded of my dad.
damn it, y couldn't i hav learnt how this earlier?
it's quite a regret for me.. sheng sheng de yi han.
now he's alr gone, and i dun even have the chance to apply all this knowledge and skills i learnt on him.
cant even help him when he needed me.
it's so.. sheesh.
sigh. i miss my dad alot alot alot alot alot alot....
in a way i feel like going uni, cos this course may make me reli sad at times.
one of the cons of the physio course.
other than that, i reli kinda like it.
interesting and unique course.
even gotta learn sociology la!
which i duno is a gd or bad ting.
and can even get to learn other languages! =P

exercised ALOT tdy.
will be exercising ALOT this week.

had captain's ball with my class during our looong break.
but i didnt exert too much strength too.
defender lahh, so didnt hav to run around.
realised ive improved in sports! or so i tink.
no longer as butter-fingers as before, managed to hit some balls away!

my new class, PT02, is quite cool! very enthu..
hehe.
but i still feel a lil funny abt gg to school in poly..
not used to it yet..
still miss my sec sch and jc clique..
and i LOATHE travelling from tanah merah all the way to yio choa kang.
haha duno how to spell, but it's like A REALLY LONG JOURNEY.
and expensive too, thanks to ADULT FARE!
i wan STUDENT FARE!

and i have no PSP to spend my time on the journey to school.

luckily i still hav YL to tok to( though she always plays her psp)

sec sch yrs were probably the best yrs of our lives.
quite worryfree.
kinda. diff kinda problems and worries compared to now.
those were kinda superficial worries.
wow.. that seems so long ago..
and today, we're both 18 going on 19,
we're still tight frens,
and going through certain experiences that bear similarity
such as heartwrench due to family stuff..
and we are cheering each other up all the time, rooting for each other to be strong!

JQ is one of the bestest fren one could hav,
cos she's so lame and silly just like me!

anyway, KICKBOXING IS AWESOME.
it's now one of my fave sports.
i dun blush easily, but kickboxing is able to make my face go pink!

everytime after i shower and leave the fitness centre im all smiles.

tekong

hiya all..
today i finally reached my goal of getting out of singapore..
went to tekong island to send zq off to NS..
haha.
not exactly a holiday, but better than nothing!

ok~ 1st of all.. i have motion sickness..
it's like whn i sit on a bus or car for too long i'll feel like puking..
same goes for a ferry.
luckily the ferry to and fro tekong is not that bumpity-rockety.
so i enjoyed the ride!
like to sit on ferries :D

anw 1st impression of tekong..
it looks like chalet! haha. wasnt as bad as i tot..
i tot tekong was like foresty, dark, with grey buildings..
i make it sound kinda like the ALCATRAZ prison in SAN FRANSCISO, dun i?
:P
anw i voiced out that tekong seems quite nice to live in
and zq's bro told me, "it is definitely not fun if u r a guy."
haha! i still find the bunks quite comfy and fun!
at least got fans and stuff. though the metal cupboards are quite rusty and gross.

thn we toured arnd and i saw alot of army boys doing drill..
they alr grew some hair on their heads so i guess dey are the older batch.
anw.. i felt like joining them!
hahaha. ok im officially nuts. mayb im a boy inside. =O
and the army boys did some cheer in rhythm to their marching..
so fun..
guess i kinda miss my girl guides days. well, kinda :/

ok.. next up.. we went to watch som video in the auditorium..
and. the video makes army look enjoyable and exciting!
but i guess it only sounds the best side of army. ive been told.
hehe i cant believe army has some custom made pop song.
i still rmb the lyrics got 'chicken feet ya ya' .
haha! so singaporean sia~

during the video, someone behind me was snoring!
loudly.. so amusing.
n i watched zq take the pledge!
whn their in-charge lieutenant(pardon me, i dun reli noe how to spell =P) asked them som qn,
they yelled back "yes sir" very loudly.
and the sleeping man behind me was awakened in shock.
he was like, *pop* WADdd??!!
hahaha. so funny.
and the new army guys had to take an oath.
part of the oath goes, "I, nric number, ........"
the nric number part is so funny!!
every army dude was saying his own number..
and the overall effect was.. alvin and the chipmunks voice!
hahaa so cute.
and whn the army guys sat down they used alot of force.
i duno y,
but the auditorium was filled with 'poop poop poop' as each of their butts touched their seats with lotsa force.

thn zq, his fam, n i had lunch tgt at the canteen.
the food was quite nice,
but perhaps it was the best food zq would taste in his 2 months of BMT?

but probably doing push ups somwhere in tekong! =P

army is like quite fun.
it gets ur ass off the sofa to work out and b fit,
and u bond with other comrades and do tough stuff tgt
and grow tgt and stuff!
but then u oso get tekan-ed alot etc..
if only girls had some army life but not as tough!

new laptop!
is Brand HP, Model DV6700 series.
its damn cool~~! love it to bits. the screen is quite big and downside is that it's bulky..
but the resolution rules!
after i get my wireless internet at home via som router or somting,
i can use laptop to blog alr! n play games!
i may even discover the joy of LAN-ing!
woohoo~~ can't wait.
P.S. my laptop even has fingerprint biometrics.
jus a swipe of my finger n i log in! hahah~
and the webcam comes with flash. yayy :D

my poly course for physiotherapy starts on FRIDAY!
so soon.. kinda sad.. i looovvveee slacking at home doing nothing,
and now it's back to school. =(
friday is the orientation.. hope i know wad class i get into!
