Fragile

Woke up at 5am all of a sudden,

Received news from a friend that her brother in law passed on.

At a young age of early 30s, due to the onset of a sudden illness.

I'm reminded of my own dad's predicament, my family, similar occurences around us, and also of the fragile nature of life.

I am saddened by the news, but admire the strength of the lady, who got married to her husband despite the diagnosis of his health, and stayed beside him all the way.

I am also in awe of my own mom, who took care of my dad for a decade or more, him having been bedridden.
